„Sebastian On The Wave“ tells the inspiring story of a young boy from Bavaria who grows up far from the sea yet remains steadfast in chasing his dream of surfing the world’s largest wave. The film takes us on an adventurous journey from Nuremberg to Hawaii and finally to Nazaré, Portugal – the epicenter of big-wave surfing.

This intimate portrait of Sebastian Steudtner reveals the life of a trailblazer and outsider who, despite numerous setbacks, becomes a pioneer and forever changes the world of surfing. It’s a story of extremes, records, and the pursuit of happiness.

As the Archive Producer of this documentary, I had the privilege of helping to shape this incredible project and as always it was a great pleasure to contribute to the outstanding sports documentaries created by BROADVIEW TV.
