2. Summary

This website does not set cookies, does not use analytics or tracking tools and does not load fonts or scripts from third-party servers. Videos and podcasts from YouTube, Vimeo and Spotify are only loaded when you click on them.

3. Hosting and server log files

This website is hosted by IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Str. 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany. When you open a page, the server processes technically necessary data that your browser transmits automatically: IP address, date and time of the request, the page or file requested, amount of data transferred, referrer URL, browser type and operating system. This data is stored in server log files in order to deliver the website, keep it stable and secure and detect misuse. It is not combined with other data and is deleted after a short period.

The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. My legitimate interest is the secure and error-free provision of the website. A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place with IONOS.

4. SSL/TLS encryption

The connection to this website is encrypted. You can recognise this by the padlock symbol and "https://" in your browser's address bar.

5. Contact by email or phone

If you contact me by email or phone, I process the information you provide (for example name, email address, phone number and the content of your request) in order to handle your request. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR if your request relates to a contract or pre-contractual steps, otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in answering enquiries). The data is deleted once it is no longer needed, unless statutory retention obligations apply, for example under commercial and tax law.

6. Videos and podcasts (YouTube, Vimeo, Spotify)

Some project pages let you play trailers and a podcast episode. This content is only loaded when you click on the preview image. Before that, no data is transmitted to the providers. When you click, a connection to the provider is established. At least your IP address and the page you are visiting are transmitted, and the provider may use cookies or similar technologies:

  • YouTube: Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Videos are embedded in privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com). Privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy
  • Vimeo: Vimeo.com, Inc., 330 West 34th Street, 5th Floor, New York, NY 10001, USA. Privacy policy: vimeo.com/privacy
  • Spotify: Spotify AB, Regeringsgatan 19, 111 53 Stockholm, Sweden. Privacy policy: spotify.com/legal/privacy-policy

The legal basis is your consent given by clicking (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, Section 25(1) TDDDG). Data may also be transferred to the USA. You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future by reloading the page and not clicking on the content again.

7. Links to other websites

This website contains links to external sites, for example alte-filme-digitalisieren.de. Data is only transmitted to the operator of that site once you follow a link. The operator is responsible for its own data processing.

8. Your rights

You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object to processing based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (Art. 21). You can withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future (Art. 7(3)). An informal message to the email address above is sufficient.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR), for example the State Commissioner for Data Protection of Lower Saxony, Prinzenstraße 5, 30159 Hannover, Germany.
